Cauliflower koottu cooking recipes
Ingredients
- Cauliflower florets – 3-4 cups cleaned
- (To clean,immerse the flowerets in salt and turmeric infused hot water,drain and wash with several changes of waters)
- Big onion,chopped – 4 cups
- Turmeric – 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp
- Garam masala – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
- Ginger paste – 1 tbsp
- Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Green chilli – 1 chopped
- Soya sauce – 1 tbsp each
- Coriander leaves – 1/2 cup
- Sugar – 1 tbsp
- Refined oil – 4 tbsp
- Salt 2 pinches
Method
- Steam cauliflower florets until cooked.
- Saute chilli in a pan in hot oil,add big onion,add sugar,so it wilts easily
- Add cauliflower
- Add condiments and sauces
- Add 1 tsp refined oil
- Mix one tsp cornflour in 1 tsp water,pour into the curry
- Check salt. Serve hot,garnished with chopped cilantro
