How to preserve pickles for long time?
- Always use pickles in a glass jar or earthenware pot.
- Use a wide mouthed bottle. All jars should be cleaned and sterilised before use.
- Never wipe the bottles with cloth once they are sterilised.
- Place it in South-East. It is best to place the pickle jars in South-East as this is the vaastu direction of fire. This direction will help generate right energy for preparation of pickle.
Storage of pickles
Store all pickles in a cool dry place or refrigerate as specified in a recipe. Instant pickles have short life. So use them up immediately or store them refrigerated for a few days
Keep pickles for long time use oil , try to make sure oil is reaching the top of the pickle Or at least make sure there is oil content relatively higher than normal curry. for 250g ingredients add 6 tablespoon vinegar. salt, vinegar, closed dried tightly sealed glass lid, the oil will preserve your pickle in refrigerator.
