Ingredients

  • Rice – 1 cup
  • Water – 4 cups
  • Onion – 1 cup (finely chopped)
  • Chilli powder – 3 Tsp
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Soak the rice overnight. Grind it to a very smooth paste using substantial water. Add the remaining water to it. i.e 4 cups water.
  2. In this mixture, add chilli powder and salt and heat it on a medium flame until the paste is finely cooked.
  3. Set aside for cooling, the paste thickens once cooled.
  4. Add the chopped onions, and mix well.
  5. Mix 1 Tsp oil in 1 cup of water. In a plastic paper, spread the oil everywhere.
  6. Keep the mixture on the paper, and keep it under the sun. Let it dry for 2-3 days until they are dry and crispy.
  7. Deep fry them in oil and serve hot.
