Onion Fritters is made from good quality onion and rice flour. Crispy fried onion fritters are easy to make and this recipe goes well with rice. The use of rice flour gives the crispy nature. Ingredients
- Rice – 1 cup
- Water – 4 cups
- Onion – 1 cup (finely chopped)
- Chilli powder – 3 Tsp
- Salt

Instructions
- Soak the rice overnight. Grind it to a very smooth paste using substantial water. Add the remaining water to it. i.e 4 cups water.
- In this mixture, add chilli powder and salt and heat it on a medium flame until the paste is finely cooked.
- Set aside for cooling, the paste thickens once cooled.
- Add the chopped onions, and mix well.
- Mix 1 Tsp oil in 1 cup of water. In a plastic paper, spread the oil everywhere.
- Keep the mixture on the paper, and keep it under the sun. Let it dry for 2-3 days until they are dry and crispy.
- Deep fry them in oil and serve hot.
