 Maize flour – Flaky deep fried poori or pure

Ingredients

  • Maize flour- 200gm
  • Wheat flour-50gm
  • Ajwain – 1 tsp
  • Chee – 3 tbsp
  • Oil- to fry
  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Combine all the ingredients and knead into a semi-stiff dough with lukewarm water.
  • Divide the dough into 12 equal portion and roll out each portion into a 3 inch diameter circle.
  • Deep fry  till golden brown, drain on an absorbent paper and keep aside.
  • Serve with vegetable curry in coconut milk.
