A mousse is a prepared food that incorporates air bubbles to give it a light and airy texture. It can range from light and fluffy to creamy and thick, depending on preparation techniques. A mousse may be sweet or savory.Dessert mousses are typically made with whipped egg whites or whipped cream, and generally flavored with chocolate, puréed fruits or various herbs and spices, such as mint or vanilla.

Almonds mousse -Savour these light and fluffy mousse enriched with dry fruits

You need

  • Gelatin – 3 tbsp
  • Almond milk – 200 ml
  • Sugar – 100gm
  • Vanilla sugar -10 gms
  • Cream – 300 ml
  • cheese – 500 gms

For garnishing

Mango sweet murabba and chopped apple murabba mixed with chopped dry fruits


  • Mix gelatin with 6 tsp of almond milk and let it soak for 5 minutes.  Heat cheese,almond milk,sugar and vanilla sugar in a sauce pan
  • Remove from heat when vapours appear above the surface
  • Add gelatin and stir until completely dissolved.  Allow it to cool completely before adding cream
  • In a separate mixing bowl, beat the cream into a soft foam and fold it gently into milk.  When the mousse begins to thicken ,mix in the chopped dry fruit and pour into the glass.  Leave in the fridge for several hours
  • Garnish it with mango,apple murabba mixed with dry fruits
