Mushroom Omelette – Soft,puffy spicy omelette
- Egg- 2 nos
- Mushrooms – 30 grams
- Butter – 1 tsp
- Grated cheese -25 grams
- Tomato chopped – half
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper powder- to taste
Method
Clean and cut mushrooms into quarters. Saute them in butter or oil till soft. Stir in chopped tomato and grated cheese and remove from fire. In a bowl beat eggs with a wire whisk until foamy. Add salt and pepper to taste. Heat a non-stick pan; melt little butter over low heat. Pour the egg mixture into the pan. Cook for 3 minutes until puffy on top and golden underneath. Add the sauteed mushrooms on top of the omelette before folding
Mushroom Vegetable Kuruma” – Healthy and Nutritious
Ingredients
- Mushrooms – 50 grams
- Green peas -Quarter cup
- Tomatoes quartered -2
- Onion chopped – 1
- Green chilli -2
- Ginger garlic paste – half tsp
- Turmeric powder – half tsp
- Chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Salt,water – as required
- Milk -quarter cup
- Coriander leaves chopped – a small sprig,to sprinkle
Method
Clean and cut mushrooms into quarters. Heat oil in a pan. Saute chopped onion,green chillies. Add ginger garlic paste,chilli powder,turmeric powder and coriander powder. Saute well until the raw smell disappears. Then add quartered mushrooms,green peas and tomatoes. Add salt. Cover and cook for three minutes. Lastly add half cup low fat milk. Stir it. Wait for one minute. Remove from heat and serve
